Thorne and Sharon Bertrand ride Gran Fondo for CCC

Thorne and Sharon Bertrand, parents of CCC founder Michele Bertrand,rode the Dry Creek ride in the Sonoma Napa Gran Fondo last Saturday, May 12.

CCC thank those two tough bicyclists for their support, and we urge everyone to visit the Gran Fondo website for more information and to see photos and results.

Join us for the 2012 Sonoma/Napa Gran Fondo Bike Ride

We’re putting together a team to ride in the 50 mile Sonoma/Napa Gran Fondo on May 12.  This is more that just a good time, and a chance to get into summer bikini shape  (yes, on occasion even I wear bikini bottoms…swimming with the Dolphin Club – see below)

This is a great opportunity to fundraise for our many support programs for families who have a child diagnosed with cancer.

Scholarship Applications Due

Please get your scholarship applications into CCC by February 29.  This year you have an extra day!  There is no formal application, but there are three items that must be submitted.  Check out the “Scholarship” link in the left hand column under the Resources page for details.  This scholarship is offered in memory of our kids who didn’t make it.  If you have a photo of a child on the list please email Tom (tomallen@hopeforcancerkids.org) and I’ll get it pasted in.  REMEMBER TO GET YOUR APPLICATION IN!!!
